Stop guessing what diet you should be following.
There are so many diet plans to choose from. Just walk into any book store or grocery store,
and you will find numerous books and magazines all touting the best diet to lose weight. Your
choices range from the very popular keto and paleo diets to vegetarian and vegan diets to
the Mediterranean diet. You can count your points along with Oprah Winfrey or have Jenny
Craig ship you your meals and snacks. You can choose a low carb/high-fat diet or a high carb/
low-fat diet, and you can’t go wrong with a high protein diet, or can you?
It’s no wonder that the number of people that actually succeed with dieting and losing the
weight that they want to lose is very low. A lot of people have told me that they have lost the
weight many times only to gain it back when the diet was finished.
Most of the diets that are available to try will work for a period of time, but if the diet is not right
for your body, it will stop working sooner than later, and a lot of dieters actually gain more body
fat back after dieting as they have reduced their metabolism during the dieting process.
Why not find a way of eating that actually works for your body?
Your body’s reactions to food tell you a lot more about what foods you should be ingesting
than any book or magazine article can tell you. We have many clients that know when they eat sugar their joints hurt. Others have stomach or even sinus issues when they ingest dairy products. Still, others have skin conditions like eczema that gets worse when they choose foods that contain gluten.
As a CHEK certified Holistic level 2 professional, I can help you find a nutrition plan that can
work for you and help you get the results that you want. Through a series of questionnaires we can figure out what macronutrient percentages you should be aiming for each day to give your body the nutrition it needs.
We have seen some huge changes in the results our clients are getting by knowing what they
should be eating and what they shouldn’t be eating. Amy Franco, our client spotlight for this
month, has seen tremendous changes in the last two years and one thing that was critical for
her to succeed was to eliminate dairy from her food choices. When I first started working with
Amy, she did not realize that much of her bloating and discomfort after meals was due to a
dairy intolerance. After removing dairy from her diet and then adding it back in, it was very
apparent that dairy was not good food for her. We have had others see 15 lbs come off fairly
easily once we figured out their primal diet type.
Stop beating yourself up because you can’t figure out why dieting isn’t working and let us help
you figure out what your nutrition profile should look like. Let us help you figure out what your primal diet type is so that you get better results with your nutrition choices.
