Andy’s Spotlight:
1. How long have you been at B-Fit and why did you join?  I have been a member since December 2018 when my wife returned and she talked me in to finally tagging along.  I had been doing some ultra running for the past couple of years but was interested in a change back to more conventional workouts.
 2. B-Fit offers a month trial which you did. Did that help you decide if B-Fit was the right fit for you? I enjoyed the month trial, but I was fairly certain I was going to sign up anyway.
3. You were already working out before you joined B-Fit. What do you enjoy about the workouts at B-Fit?  I appreciate that it hits some stuff I usually neglect.  Also, it’s a good total body workout that doesn’t get you brutally sore like a bodybuilding split tends to.
 4. What kind of strength or fitness changes are you seeing since joining B-Fit?  I have enjoyed getting back to lifting again and getting some leg strength back with squats and lunges.
5. What would you tell others about the training and community atmosphere at B-Fit? I think it has been great so far.  Everyone is really supportive, but there is also some competition for the MyZone points or the rowing/ski-erg all time or workout specific records.
6. What are your favorite and least favorite exercises?  Deadlifts and sled work are my favorites, and I will forever and ever hate planks with all of my soul.
Krissa’s Spotlight:
1. You love to work out and love to lift. What do you like about the B-Fit workouts? B-Fit workouts are challenging and you get a lot accomplished in 1 hour. I like that I can get a total body workout in one session. B-Fit gym is like a grown-up playground with the best equipment in town.
2. With your love of fitness, what have you learned at B-Fit to help with your nutrition and workouts? Beverly is extremely knowledgeable about working around injuries and how to prevent injuries while lifting. The main thing I have learned at B-Fit is the importance of core training. I always neglected core exercises thinking squats and deadlifts were enough. I was wrong.
3. You are one of the strongest females at B-Fit. Do you have any strength goals that you are shooting for? I had taken a long break from exercise period, so I am just happy to be back at baseline strength wise. My biggest goal is to finally conquer the unassisted pull-up. My goal is 5 unassisted pull-ups by the end of the year. I tend to focus on leg exercises but need to focus a bit more on upper body strength.
4.  What could you tell others about the training and community atmosphere at B-Fit? B-Fit members are the best. It is a positive, motivating environment. I have worked out at almost every gym in town and B-Fit is top notch. Bob and Beverly are so helpful and knowledgeable and really know how to program the workouts and how to make it work for everyone. I love the addition of boot camp classes by Michelle, and it is a goal to get to more of those ASAP!
5. You and your husband Andy workout together at times. What would you say to other couples about working out together at B-Fit? I am so happy my husband decided to join B-Fit this year! I love that he loves the workouts just as much as I do! I love spending that extra hour with him before work even if it’s exercising…it’s being able to do something we both love together. He definitely helps me get out of bed at 0445 for 0530 sessions, which I never thought I would do.
6. What are your favorite and least favorite exercises? Favorite exercises: Anything kettlebell (especially squats), floor to ceilings, and wall balls. Least favorite: I’sY’sT’s. (sorry!)
