1.  How long have you been at B-Fit and why did you join?  I joined B-Fit about 7 years ago because I was looking for an alternative to playing basketball every day for staying in shape, and Scott Conway encouraged me to try it.
2. What have you learned at B-Fit to help with your healthy and nutritional choices? What are you currently incorporating?  I always stayed physically active with basketball as a daily routine, but I didn’t realize until joining B-Fit how critical nutritional choices are to overall health and wellness.  I thought as long as I was moving everyday I could eat whatever I wanted and still stay fit.  Joining B-Fit and getting the daily guidance from Beverly and Bob has helped me realize that nutritional choices are critical to the process of lifelong health.  Currently, I have cut way back on gluten and dairy, and most importantly I have cut my sugar and sweets intake drastically over the last year.
3.  What are your current/future nutrition/fitness goals?  Since I have already been crowned the VersaClimber King (Dilly Dilly!), there isn’t much left for me to accomplish.  But I am going to focus on continuing to stay away from sugar because it is my biggest weakness, and continue to exercise every day, whether it is at B-Fit or when traveling.  I have enjoyed the new Assault treadmills in the studio and they may help me work more running into my routine so the VersaClimbers can be freed up for some of the rest of you.
4.  What would you tell others about the training and community atmosphere at B-Fit?  The two keys for me in the B-Fit atmosphere are the accountability and competitiveness provided not only by Beverly and Bob but by all the other members.  I was worried about giving up basketball and that I would lose competition in my workouts, but there is just as much competition, if not more, to be had at B-Fit.  And I have enjoyed competing not only with the guys my age, but with the ladies and kids as well.  And Beverly and Bob are always there to encourage that competition but in a very motivating way.  It is awesome to feel like you are always getting better, but it is also great to see others at B-Fit achieving so much as well.
5.  What is your favorite and least favorite exercise? (Or why do you love the Versa Climber? 🙂 )  My least favorite exercise is the jump rope.

My favorite is hands-down the VersaClimber.  It has been a game changer for me.  I believe Bev and Bob bringing the VersaClimbers into the studio along with the MyZone tool have been critical to me being motivated daily to get better.  The MyZone belt and app showed me that although I thought I was working hard, I really wasn’t.  I was enjoying my workouts before MyZone, but it has been a great tool for helping us all get the most out of our workouts.  And it is great for the competition.
