1.  How long have you been at B-Fit and why did you want to join? Explain any limitations you felt you had with your foot pain and if that has changed now.
I have been coming to B-Fit regularly for almost 2.5 yrs now. I first stopped in to see about one-on-one training sessions due to the limitations I had been experiencing. I had been dealing with chronic plantar fasciitis in both feet that left me unable to walk even a mile and do the things I wanted to do. When I began my training at B-Fit, I was also working with a physical therapist and Beverly made my one-on-one workouts to reinforce and build on my PT. After a few months, it had improved greatly, but after 9 months I was back to wearing any type of shoe I wanted and being able to walk 9 miles in one day on a vacation to Las Vegas.
2. What have you learned at B-Fit to help with your exercise experience and/or nutritional choices?
The biggest “ah-ha” moment at B-fit had to do with my posture. In the early days during my one on one sessions, Beverly had to re-train me on correcting my posture. This is something I still have to consciously think about to keep from falling back into bad habits. I have also worked on eliminating foods that cause inflammation and that has made a big difference in how I feel and my energy levels.
3. What are your current exercise and/or nutrition goals?
My goals have always been to be able to do the things I want to do and not be limited physically. I reached that goal a little while ago, and even though I have had a few setbacks with some lower back pain at times, Beverly and Bob always adjust my workouts so that I can still get in a good workout and not further any injury or pain. Now, I set short term goals for weight loss to keep myself moving forward.
4.  What would you tell others about the training and community atmosphere at B-Fit?
Whether you are doing one-on-one (like I started with),   small group sessions (which is what I transitioned to after about 5 months),  or bootcamp you are sure to get a well balanced great workout in. The people that go to B-Fit are also a great asset, as they are all very supportive of each other and encouraging.
5. What is your favorite and least favorite exercise?
My favorite exercise is the Versa climber; I always feel like I get a good workout in with that one. My least favorite is the dreaded sled push or pull.
