2. You have lost almost 100 lbs. What have you changed with your nutrition and exercise to aid with that and what has been the hardest part of that?
I have lost 88lbs over 3.5 yrs, but more importantly to me is what I have gained. I am no longer limited physically to what I can do. Before I came to B-Fit I had chronic foot pain that made walking any distance impossible even in tennis shoes, which was limiting, especially when on vacation and trying to sightsee. Nutrition has played a key role in helping me achieve my goals. I needed to come to terms with food sensitivities that were affecting me and cut them out of my diet to improve my health and energy levels. I could live on cheese and bread so that has been the hardest part as they are my two big food sensitivities.
The need to listen to my body and make better choices nutritionally that will provide energy and nutrients and not empty calories.
No, movement without pain was my goal. The weight loss is a happy result.
Future goals are just to maintain my current functionality and keep striving to improve my endurance and strength.
6. What would you tell others about the training and community atmosphere at B-Fit?
Come on in, everyone is supportive, friendly & encouraging. The B-Fit team is energetic, informative, and eager to help you teach your goals!
I don’t really have one anymore, it used to be the sled but now I kinda like it.
Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, I have continued to work out at home using exercises learned at B-Fit. I have also utilized B-Fit’s online workout options to make sure I didn’t go backward or slack off during this time. I have maintained and even improved in some areas with strength.
